Novena and Feast of the Patroness of Brazil 2021

The theme for the Novena and Feast of the Patroness of Brazil in 2021 will be “With Mary, we are the people of God, united by the covenant”. The organizers intend to make the devotees reflect on God’s Covenant with his people, which is linked to the Exodus and marks the exit of the people from Egypt, by God’s strength and Moses’ leadership, and their liberation.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, all celebrations will have a reduced audience capacity. In addition, all hygiene, safety, and social distancing protocols will be followed. Access to the inside of the Basilica will be controlled and there will be screening for temperature checks and hand hygiene. (EPC)
