Newsroom (27/10/2021 09:48 AM, Gaudium Press) The Cathedral of Valencia’s lofty monstrance was carried, with the Blessed Sacrament, in a solemn Eucharistic Procession through the centre’s streets of the Spanish city.
Cardinal Antonio Cañizares
The procession, attended by several priests and deacons, took place last Saturday after the recitation of the Holy Rosary and the celebration of a Holy Mass, presided by the Archbishop of Valencia, Cardinal Antonio Cañizares.
After the procession, held in the surroundings of the Spanish Cathedral, the monstrance and the faithful returned to the Cathedral, from where Cardinal Cañizares blessed those present with the Blessed Sacrament, concluding the Eucharistic Vigil.
