Hogar de la Madre TV, in yet another of the impressive productions to which its audience has become accustomed, is now launching “The Warriors of Light: Boys and Girls Chosen by Jesus to Share the Sufferings of His Passion”.
For this premiere part, HM Television tells the story of Manuel Foderà, a charming 7-year-old Sicilian boy who wakes up one day with a sharp pain in one side: a neuroblastoma is discovered in his pelvis, a very aggressive cancer. The child’s life takes a 180-degree turn.
At first it was not easy for him to accept the various setbacks that came with the illness and the treatment; however, God’s grace quickly made itself felt in his soul, and he became an ever closer friend of Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin.
He is one of those pure souls that God wants to be offered in holocaust. In this way did Manuel rapidly progress in spiritual knowledge and virtue.
His last words were “it is finished”, revealing a clear awareness that he had fulfilled the mission that God had destined for him here in life.
