Newsroom – Spain – Ronda (February 6, 2022, 2:30 PM, Gaudium Press) From June 28 to July 1, the Annual Congress of the Spanish Mariological Society will be held. The event, held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Peace, will take place in the city of Ronda.
Holy Mary, Queen of Peace
The congress, which will follow the theme “Holy Mary, Queen of Peace”, will be sponsored by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Peace and will include the participation of several theologians from Spain. This will all take place under the coordination of Father Salvador Aguilera López.
Every year the Spanish Mariological Society tries to celebrate this meeting at a location where there is a significant devotion to Our Lady. This year the city chosen was Ronda, because of its devotion to Our Lady of Peace.
Marian Capital of Spain
In previous years the Annual Congress of the Spanish Mariological Society was held in the cities of Guadalupe, Covadonga, and El Cerro de Los Ángeles. During these days, Ronda will be the Marian capital of Spain and the organizers hope that the city will receive a shower of spiritual graces to grow in their devotion to Our Lady. (EPC)
