The Pastoral of the “Centro Profesionalizante” and the University Center of Chile, Duoc UC, will promote an International seminar dedicated to St. Joseph.
Newsroom (30/11/2021 4:20 PM, Gaudium Press) As the year dedicated to St. Joseph is drawing to a close, the activities and tributes to the Holy Patriarch do not cease.
On December 2 and 3, the Pastoral of the “Centro Profesionalizante” and the University Center of Chile, Duoc UC, will promote an international seminar on St Joseph: “With a Father’s Heart.” It will begin broadcast live on the Duoc UC youtube channel.
“With a Father’s Heart” will feature renowned speakers discussing topics such as the tenderness, dedication and obedience of St. Joseph to his mission.
Talks and Topics
On the first day, the discussions will feature Msgr. Alberto González Chaves (Spain), an expert on St. Joseph, will talk about St. Joseph as Protector of the Church, and Inés Ordoñez, from Argentina, on how St. Joseph teaches us to listen to God.
On the second day, Msgr. Andrés Ferrada, secretary of the Congregation for the Clergy, will explain the relationship between St. Joseph and Education.
Finally, philosopher Leonardo Bruna will lecture on sickness and death, taking St. Joseph as an example.
For the Duoc UC pastoral, the online event closes the year of St. Joseph, proclaimed by Pope Francis in December 2020.
St. Joseph is the patron saint of the institution linked to the Catholic University of Chile. Masses and novenas were celebrated throughout the year in honour of the Patron Saint of the family and workers. (FM)
