Faithful all over the world will be able to pray Hail Marys for the Holy Father, who on March 13 will complete his first decade as Pontiff.

Newsroom – Vatican City (February 15, 2023, 8:00 PM, Gaudium Press) On March 13, Pope Francis will complete ten years of pontificate. As a way to celebrate this anniversary, the Digital Synod has launched a special online map with virtual lit candles representing the prayers of the faithful around the world for the Holy Father.

“The Petrine ministry is a great grace that Jesus has granted to his Church and we should always be grateful for it. Therefore, our prayer should be the best gift, that God may sustain in service the one he has chosen for this ministry, because on this rock he builds his Church in time and history,” a statement said.

How to participate in the tribute to the Pope?

The faithful who wish to be part of this initiative can access a special page by clicking here, the website presents an invitation to pray one or more Hail Marys. At the end of the prayer campaign, a map filled with ‘little candles’ representing the Hail Marys prayed will be sent to the Pope.

The Digital Synod is a network of web missionaries, accompanied by the Dicastery for Communication, who have responded to the Pope’s call to participate in the synodal journey by dialoguing with those who populate the digital continent and by bringing their Christian experience. (EPC)
