Sao Pablo, Brazil (Tuesday, 01/20/2015, Gaudium Press) The Faculty of Canon Law Saint Paul the Apostle, located in the city of Sao Paulo, is offering to all interested people a university extension course on Parish and attributes of Parish Priests in accordance with the Code of Canon Law.
It aims to provide legal and pastoral training. The course goes from 2nd to 6th of February, 2015, at the Campus Ipiranga of the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-SP). It is directed to the clergy and acting laity working in diocesan curia, ecclesiastical courts and parishes.
The Faculty of Canon Law Saint Paul the Apostle, started as an Institute of Law, erected in 1999, and was affiliated to the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome, for a period of five years. After that, the institution was under the Congregation for Catholic Education and on February 25, 2014 it became an autonomous university, having the authority to fully graduate Masters and Doctors as well as recruiting and add other Institutes.
