The Irish religious, who died in Ecuador in a terrible earthquake and who wanted to be an actress, now has worldwide fame. HM Tv will publish 10 daily clips leading up to April 16, 2026, sharing memories and interviews about Sister Clare Crockett.
Editorial Office (07/04/2026 08:33, Gaudium Press) In just a few days, ten years will be marked since the death of the Servant of God, Sister Clare Crockett (1982–2016), which occurred in the terrible earthquake that struck Ecuador on April 16, 2016.
The young Irish woman who dreamed of being a Hollywood actress and who gave herself to Jesus Christ, joking that she would become «a famous nun», has achieved it. The documentary about her life “O todo o nada” has already been translated into fifteen languages, and the book “Sola con el Solo” has also been translated into numerous languages.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of her death, HM Tv has prepared a very special project. Like a countdown, starting today and continuing until April 16, 2026—the same date—each day at 8:00 p.m. Spain time, a clip from the series will be published: “10 years, 10 moments. Sister Clare, unpublished memories.”
These are interviews with children and young people she interacted with, her friends, and her community sisters, who—ten years later—share the influence she has had in their lives and memories kept in their hearts about important matters in Sister Clare’s life.
They will speak about how she understood her service to evangelization through music; they will reveal details of her love for children and young people and how she managed to bring them to Jesus Christ; they will describe how her heart— the heart of a young woman who wanted to be famous—was converted, and everything she had to leave behind to give herself to Jesus Christ; they will narrate anecdotes about her love for praying the Rosary and how she tried to instill this devotion in others; and they will tell us what Sister Clare was like in the intimacy of community life. All of this will be accompanied by images from her life, some of them still unpublished. The first video is titled “I will sing forever…”
