St. Peter Julian Eymard, known as the apostle of the Eucharist, founded two religious congregations for perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Newsroom (August 2, 2021 8:30 PM Gaudium Press) -The Catholic Church celebrates today, August 2, the memory of Saint Peter Julian Eymard, the apostle of the Eucharist. Born in 1811 in northern France, this saint was ordained priest in his native diocese at the age of 23.
He founded the Congregation of the Fathers of the Blessed Sacrament in Paris in 1856. He also founded the Third Order of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for laypeople. In addition to the two religious congregations for perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, he left numerous writings on Eucharistic spirituality.
Saint Peter Julian Eymard died on August 1, 1868, at the age of 57. In 1925, he was beatified by Pope Pius XI and canonized in 1962 by Pope John XXIII.

I adore You, O Divine Jesus, living and present in the Eucharist, inexhaustible treasure of heavenly gifts; universal source from good, light, virtues, happiness, blessing, perfection and all that is most pure, beautiful and holy emanate and spread in the Church and souls.
By this admirable plenitude, deign, attend to my humble supplications, remove from my soul and body the dangers to which they are exposed, and grant me the grace of which I have a pressing need. With unswerving confidence, I ask, and in return for your benefits, I offer myself without reserve to love, serve, and glorify you in the adorable Sacrament of the Eucharist. Amen.
